1, first you need to download and unpack the version of lamecraft you want to modify the texture pack of, you will need to install 'GIMP' (a free image editing software) once that is installed continue to step 2, i have placed the folder on my desktop for demonstration purposes.
2.open the lamecraft folder and you will find numerous folders, open the assets folder.
3. again you will find a few folders, open the lamecraft folder
4. when you open the 'lamecraft' folder you fill find numerous image and unknown files, once you have gimp installed right click the 'terrain_medium.png' and click 'edit with gimp' and the image will open with gimp.
5. as stated above, right click the image and click 'edit with gimp'
6. once gimp has opened the image you will see this screen, (from here you could just go ahead and edit the texture pack as you please, though i shall continue with this tutorial) click the magnifying glass icon (highlighted in red) and brag a rectangle over what is highlighted in green, this simply brings the example (what i am gong to be working on) cactus in to a larger view.
7. Once you have enlarged the view of the texture you will get this view, we will be focusing on the cactus (highlighted in red).
8. click the square icon on the top left of the toolbox (highlighted in red), and select the 3 squares that make up the cactus.
9. once you have selected the blocks click the eraser icon (highlighted in red) and rub out the 3 blocks (because you highlighted the whole cactus it will only rub out those blocks.
10. once you have done that you can make anything, i have made a table (the squares have to be upside down as lamecraft reads the image upside down [if you accidentally make an image the wrong way then highlight the square you cocked up and click the icon highlighted in green, this just shows how everything is upside down] )
11. SAVE YOUR IMAGE. save your image, once you have done this open your texture pack in lamecraft, this should look good, here is my table once opened in lamecraft^.
